Nandi Bushell has done it again.
The 11-year-old musical superstar has paid tribute to the late Charlie Watts by offering up a cover of a Rolling Stones classic.

Nandi delivered a fantastic version of “Gimme Shelter” off the Stones’ 1969 record Let It Bleed. The video shows Nandi play every instrument at her disposal, guitar, bass, percussion, keyboard, drums, and a saxophone.
She layered the song by looping each instrument in different intervals before building up to a grand crescendo and adding her voice.
“This cover is for Charlie Watts,” Bushell wrote in the video’s description. “I wanted to do something really special for Charlie. This is my most ambitious cover yet. ‘Gimme Shelter’ is such an incredible tune. I hope one day I get to jam with The Rolling Stones too. Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood – I LOVE THE ROLLING STONES!”
The Rolling Stones are currently in the midst of their No Filter tour, their first since the passing of Watts over the summer.
“It’s a bit of a poignant night for us,” Mick Jagger told the crowd during the band’s first gig without Charlie.
“This is our first tour in 59 years that we’ve done without our lovely Charlie Watts. We all miss Charlie so much. We miss him as a band. We miss him as friends, on and off the stage. We’ve got so many memories of Charlie. I’m sure some of you that have seen us before have got memories of Charlie as well. I hope you’ll remember him like we do. We’d like to dedicate this show to Charlie.”
