According to The Hollywood Reporter, FX is in discussions to bring on a drama series about The Rolling Stones. The series would focus on the band’s formation in the early 1960’s all the way through to 1972 when they released their iconic double album Exile on Main St.

The series is being overseen by Nick Hornby, who authored classics like High Fidelity and About a Boy, and has been ordered for two seasons.

This past summer, The Rolling Stones finally released the rare 1974 track “Scarlet,” which features contributions from Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page and late Traffic/Blind Faith bassist Rick Grech.

“I remember first jamming this with Jimmy and Keith in Ronnie’s basement studio,” Mick Jagger said in a statement at the time. “It was a great session.”

“‘Scarlet’ was a freak accident,” recalled Keith Richards in a statement. “We weren’t actually cutting it as a track, it was basically for a demo, a demonstration, you know, just to get the feel of it, but it came out well, with a line up like that, you know, we better use it.‘’

The song was one of three previously unreleased tracks that was featured on the  expanded reissue of The Rolling Stones' 1973 album Goats Head Soup.
