Lindsey Vonn Gets Some Major Bling for Her Fiancé, Asks Him to Marry Her

Lindsey Vonn wanted to be open-minded for her engagement with P.K. Subban.

The Olympic gold medalist and the hockey star are engaged again, according to People. Vonn popped the question as part of a Christmas surprise for her already-fiancé. The couple first got engaged in August.

"Merry Christmas and happy holidays everyone!!" she captioned the picture on Instagram. “On our 2 year anniversary I returned the favor and asked PK to marry me… and he said yes ☺️”

She continued, “We talk about equality but actions speak louder than words. Men should get engagement rings too and this is what PK deserves. Can’t wait to marry you babe ❤️🐻.”

In the pictures, the couple wore matching pajamas while posing right in front of their Christmas tree with their dogs. Subban flashed his new ring, as Vonn was seen giving him a kiss on the cheek.

On Twitter, Vonn also expressed how her "non traditional" actions should inspire women not to be afraid to propose. "Women aren't the only ones who should get engagement rings," Vonn said.

Earlier in August, when it came time for Subban to pop the question, the hockey player revealed to Vogue he wanted to keep it simple as possible.

"I got the ring and said, ‘You know what? I’m just going to do it home.’ Everything kind of came together on that day," Subban said. "Everyone says the stars aligned—well, it was actually a full moon. I was worried because I knew she would want to be dressed up and not in her pajamas, and it just so happened she had a business meeting, so she was fully dressed up.”
