NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Staten Island native and "Saturday Night Live" cast member Pete Davidson, 28, is slated to star in a new live action comedy for Peacock about a "fictionalized version" life of his life, NBCUniversal announced on Wednesday.
“Bupkis” will premiere on NBCUniversal’s streaming service and tell stories set in a fictionalized version of Davidson’s life in the tradition of "Seinfeld," "Curb Your Enthusiasm" or "Louie."
"Bupkis" is a Yiddish term meaning "nonsense."
NBCUniversal said the show “will combine grounded storytelling with absurd elements from the unfiltered and completely original worldview for which Pete is well known.”
Long-time "Saturday Night Live" producer and writer Lorne Michaels will executive produce the show and Judah Miller will co-write with Davidson.

The network did not announce a release date for the series.
