Gellar, 44, showcased her svelte physique in a sexy swimsuit selfie while also joking about how difficult it is to bring her children to the beach.
The “Buffy The Vampire Slayer” star was seen in a black one-piece suit and debuted her big smile as she wore a silver pendant necklace and star earrings.
“No one is full of more false hope then a parent that brings a chair to the beach. Or a book #weekend,” Gellar captioned the photo.
Fans, even Gellar’s famous friends, were quick to comment on the photo, complimenting her appearance.
Reese Witherspoon, who starred in the 1999 film “Cruel Intentions” alongside Gellar, left three flame emojis on the photo.
Gellar's "All My Children" costar Lindsay Price joked and wrote, “Who wrote that? Mark Twain? Dorthy Parker? Anyway, I’m getting it on a T-shirt. I’ll get u one.”
While Gellar shows her confidence on Instagram, she also gives off nostalgic vibes.
In February of 2020, close friends and former co-stars Selma Blair and Sarah Michelle Geller, who played Cecile Caldwell and Kathryn Merteuil in "Cruel Intentions," reunited with Roger Kumble.
“I can’t show how good it feels to have my friends come and bring lunch and news of the world,” Blair captioned the photo on Instagram.
“So I will just share the standard happy selfies. With love. Who knew this #cruelintentions trio would be forever?” she continued.
Blair was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2018 and has been very open and transparent about her battle with the disease.
Gellar commented on the picture writing, “#secretsociety.”
She then posted the photos on her page with the caption, “No cruel intentions here. Little known fact — since the day we met @selmablair has called me Scarah — @rogerkumble I blame you.”
