The VERZUZ showdown between Eve and Trina was short, dynamic and to the point. The legendary femcees reporting live from their respective cities (London and Miami) had a celebratory night, diving deep into their catalogs and fangirling over each other's hits.

The night began (on time, for those wondering) with DJ Nasty playing current hits and paying tribute to Tupac, in honor of what would've been his 50th birthday. It wasn't long before Trina hopped on stage and immediately jumped into her 2014 hit, "Da Baddest B****." Eve followed up with her 2007 Swizz Beatz production, "Tambourine."
As the night continued, Eve stayed ready with her guest features— Alicia Keys' "Gangsta Lovin'," Kelly Rowland's "Like This," City High's "Caramel (Remix)"— and the extensive list from her Ruff Ryders era. We practically lost it when she performed "Let Me Blow Ya Mind," "Love Is Blind" and "Who's That Girl?" Trina slid through with "Here We Go," "Pull Over," "Single Again" and even brought out Trick Daddy as a special guest for "Nann N****."
A VERZUZ favorite, Missy Elliott was honored by both women. Trina performed "One Minute Man" and Eve pulled out "4 My People" and of course, the highly requested "Hot Boyz" feature. Elliott later tweeted, "I want to say this I am HUMBLY GRATEFUL because I’ve been on a lot of artist verzuz & I want to thank those AMAZING artist who believed in me as a Writer/Producer or just a artist I love yall 4 the love yall shown me."
It was a friendly matchup concluded with both Trina and Eve performing their verse from the remix to Ludacris' "My Chick Bad." Trina dedicated the evening to 'all the females in hip hop" and took the moment to release her new single, "Receipts."
