According to TMZ, Carey got into a physical altercation with another individual inside of the terminal. Law enforcement sources told TMZ that airport police responded to a report of a disturbance between two men. When police arrived, they arrested Carey and transported him to a nearby police station where he was booked for misdemeanor assault.

Sources tell TMZ that Carey got into an altercation with an employee working security at the airport and could be fined up to $13,900 for the incident.
