Someone should tell Shanna Moakler that no one likes a shade thrower. Oh wait, her daughter Alabama Barker did, among other things, and Shanna isn’t here for it, which honestly makes sense because Bama be throwin’ shade too.

Moakler shares Alabama and 17-year-old Landon with ex-husband Travis Barker, who’s currently living his best life with and showed mad Mother's Day love to, his girlfriend Kourtney Kardashian. But that’s a whole other story.
Speaking of, it was actually Mother's Day that sparked this family feud. After her 15 year-old daughter slammed her mother on social media, saying she’s not an “amazing” mom. Moakler is now defending herself against both her kids claiming that she’s an absentee parent.
This is how the drama began. In her recent Instagram story Alabama offered up some insider intel about her relationship or lack there of with her mom who she claims “has never completely been in my life,” requesting, “Can you guys stop painting her out to be an amazing mom?” Alabama went on to post the following rhetorical question to further make her point. “Did your moms ask to see you on Mother’s Day [because] mine didn’t? I’m done keeping it a secret, reality shows.”
In the comments, Barker alleged that she tried to visit with Moakler on Mother’s Day but “she said let’s go to dinner another day." Also seen in the comments section replying to a fan inquiring for her response Moakler obliged, with not much to say about the allegations, however clearly not having any of it - calling them, “completely ridiculous.”
However, Alabama’s post wasn’t the first time a Barker kid claimed as such. As Landon previously admitted, while responding to a troll in comments section of a TikTok post, saying “our mom has never been in our lives and isn’t in our lives like our dad is.”
Solicited or not, Moakler’s boyfriend, Matthew Rondeau, came to his lady’s rescue, telling Life & Style that she in fact is an “amazing” mom. Adding, “I am with her because she loves and cares so much about her family. That’s just one of the reasons why I love her so much.”
It’s no secret Moakler has some thoughts about her ex-husbands new love, as she frequently shares them on the internet or to different outlets. Her most recent allegation however was sent directly to her daughter who Alabama helped fuel rumors that Barker once had an affair with now-girlfriend Kourtney Kardashian’s sister Kim Kardashian.
Along with sharing her feeling, Alabama also shared a screenshot of a direct message that appears to be written by Moakler that read in part, “I divorced Travis because I caught him having an affair with Kim! Now he’s in love with her sister… It’s all gross… I’m not the bad guy!” Those claims have since been denied, and while one can never be sure, but safe to say it never happened. Seriously though, Travis isn’t really Kim’s type… like at all.
Back to the original drama you clicked for regarding the opposing claims. Divorced parents and teenagers can be a tricky relationships to navigate to begin with. Combine that with huge social media followings, general worldwide Kardashian obsession and people's shameless love of drama these days, things can get very ugly. Honestly, we hope Moakler, the Barkers, and Kardashians are able to figure things out soon — maybe even in private?… but lets be real, probably not.
