
I smell new cast members for “Hocus Pocus 2.”
Disney+ is celebrating Halloween by revealing information about the highly-anticipated sequel.

The streaming giant announced that in addition to the Sanderson sisters -- Bette Midler (Winnie), Sarah Jessica Parker (Sarah), Kathy Najimy (Mary) -- Doug Jones will reprise his role as Billy Butcherson.
When the sisters rise again, the movie will also include “Ted Lasso‘s” Hannah Waddingham and “Veep‘s” Tony Hale and Sam Richardson.
“The black flame candle is alight to the Sanderson sisters’ delight. Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, & Kathy Najimy shall soon return. Joined by new faces which you soon will learn,” the Disney+ tweet wrote alongside the lit black flame candle.
Additionally, the film will also include Whitney Peak from “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina,” Lilia Buckingham “Zoe Valentine,” Belissa Escobedo “The Baker and the Beauty,” Juju Brener “Vanquish,” Froy Gutierrez “Teen Wolf,” Taylor Henderson “Earwig and the Witch” and Nina Kitchen.
The cult classic first premiered in 1993.
While it wasn’t an initial box office hit, the three witches that are resurrected on Halloween night in Salem, Massachusetts quickly put a spell on fans.
Since then, it has become a holiday staple that is viewed by audiences big and small every Halloween, often appearing multiple times on Freeform’s “31 Nights of Halloween” lineup. You can also stream is on Disney+!
An official release date for the film has yet to be announced, but Disney+ confirmed that it will be slated for a 2022 release.
