So apparently, at some point during Chris’ 34th birthday party, he and Usher got into some type of argument over Teyana Taylor, which allegedly ended with a physical altercation between the two. Obviously with video footage surfacing of the two arguing and all the media coverage, the internet did what it does best — speculate —and here’s what’s been suggested.
Apparently, Chris wasn’t entirely hype about Taylor showing up at his party and wanted her to leave. Why, you might ask? Well reportedly it all stems from Brown’s cancelled 2022 AMA performance and Michael Jackson tribute, which Teyana was supposedly set to take part in. However, after backing out at the last minute due to other obligations, Brown felt it was the main reason why his performance got the boot.
The story is, Breezy approached Teyana to talk it out but ultimately asked her to leave. According to reports, Taylor ignored Brown and said he was "on one,” which obviously didn’t sit well with him and things got heated. That's apparently how Usher got involved, stepping in to deescalate, however resulting in the opposite. Afterwards news reports came out that Usher was allegedly jumped by Brown and his crew outside of the Skate Rock City in Las Vegas where the party was held.
While witnesses claim the beatdown resulted in Usher receiving a “bloodied nose,” neither Usher or Taylor have commented on the reports, while Chris had the following to say about the alleged beef the carried into the following night at the Lovers & Friends Festival.
Whether it did or not, that remains unknown, however what we do know thanks to a video he posted on his IG story is whatever did go down, Usher looked to be unscathed and unbruised as he waited backstage for his scheduled performance.
