It looks like the “Law & Order: Organized Crime” crossover episodes are not… dun dun.

Bad puns aside, the show has generated serious buzz with the return of fan favorite character Elliot Stabler, played by Christopher Meloni, in his own spinoff series.

Now that the first season of the show has wrapped, executive producer Ilene Chaiken is spilling on what could come next for the franchise.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, she revealed that fans can expect more appearances from other characters in the “Law & Order” universe.

But will that include cameos from Mariska Hargitay, who plays Stabler’s former partner, Olivia Benson, on “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit”?

“We will certainly do more crossovers. We're now part of an entire night of ‘Law & Order.’ It offers us a lot of opportunities to intersect our stories,” Chaiken shared, before noting that “there's no set number, no formula for it.”

Because both shows will start at the same time next season, it will also give producers the opportunity to coordinate more effectively. “We will be more or less on the same schedule,” she said.

In April, “Law & Order” fans were in for a treat after they were made privy to a moment they had been waiting literal decades for when Stabler told Benson he loves her in an “Organized Crime” crossover episode.

In the emotional scene, the former partners were brought together after Stabler’s children enlisted Benson’s help to have an intervention for the detective, whose behavior got increasingly erratic after the death of his wife.

Stabler snapped at Benson after she expressed concern, only to break down and say “I love you” to her. But whether or not it was a romantic admission was left unclear, as Stabler followed up by saying he loves “all of you” to Benson and his children.
