Among the list of five names on the arrest docket stemming from the shooting of Lady Gaga’s assistant Ryan Fischer and subsequent dognapping is 50-year-old Jennifer McBride, the woman who had returned Gaga’s pups to an LAPD station, with claims she found them while asking about the $500,000 reward that was being offered by Gaga at the time.
Apparently, police believe McBride was or is in a relationship with 40-year-old defendant Harold White, also charged in the incident, alleging White recruited McBride to return the dogs after hearing of Gaga's reward.

Harold White's 19-year-old son Jaylin is also among those arrested with cops alleging he as well as 18-year-old suspect James Jackson, and 27-year-old Lafayette Whaley are the ones who attacked Fischer and grabbed the dogs. They each face three attempted murder charges, conspiracy to commit robbery, and second-degree robbery, with the alleged shooter Jackson facing two additional firearms charges and the younger White facing an additional assault charge according to TMZ.
The elder White faces accessory charges and a firearms charge while McBride faces charges of receiving stolen property.
An interesting twist to this whole story; apparently the LAPD does not believe at this time that Gaga's dogs were targeted due to their celebrity status, but rather because the French bulldog breed is highly sought out and could bring in top dollar for the accused if sold.
It looks as though this was a known dognapping ring and, after all of the publicity, they decided to bail on their original plan and cash in on the reward -- which cops told Gaga not to pay from the get-go. Stay tuned for more updates.
