Vie, which translates from French to "life," arrives everywhere on September 26, as Doja Cat confirmed earlier this month. A reported "return to Pop," it's the GRAMMY-winning artist's first release since the deluxe edition of her album, Scarlet.
Produced by Jack Antonoff and frequent collaborator Y2K, "Jealous Type" shares the 80's synth DNA that Doja previously hinted to for her new project, bouncing along a euphoric bass line, she purrs with command and a slight smattering of bars. Matched with a Boni Mata directed video that proves the only person Doja could be jealous of is Doja, it's a radical, sexual romp that is giving us "vie."
