As the 20-year anniversary of Linkin Park's 2003 album Meteora approaches with a special release set for March 25, the band's songwriter Mike Shinoda is also to dropping a brand new solo single.
As a follow-up to his Scream VI track "Still Alive" featuring Demi Lovato that officially dropped earlier this month, Shinoda has another new track to be included in Scream VI, in theaters on March 10, this time with Arizona-born/Los Angeles-based Alt/Pop singer and songwriter Kailee Morgue.
“I love that this moment is both a look backward and a look forward, releasing an Anniversary retrospective of 'Meteora' and brand new music at the same time," Shinoda says along with the release. "My whole career, I’ve jumped from Linkin Park to solo stuff to working with others, and it feels great to dive back into that rhythm. Plus, having both my ‘In My Head' and Demi Lovato’s 'Still Alive’ in the new 'Scream VI' film is a huge thrill." (edited)
