After first updating fans about his current recovery from surgery and giving a quick tease of new music earlier this week on social media, the blizzard is upon us once again. With the release of Ozzy's new single "Patient Number 9," comes an epic video directed by Spawn and Venom co-creator Todd McFarlane, as well as a few juicy song credits and album details.
Ozzy penned the track with the album's producer, Andrew Watt, while songwriter Ali Tamposi, bassist Robert Trujillo currently of Metallica, and drummer Chad Smith of the Red Hot Chili Peppers each share full credit. This song, featuring famed guitarist Jeff Beck, is just the first of many collaborations on the follow-up to 2020's Ordinary Man which also sees Osbourne team up with his former bandmates Zakk Wylde and Tony Iommi. Other notable artists featured on the album include Guns N’ Roses bassist Duff McKagan, Eric Clapton, Queens of the Stone Age's Josh Homme, Pearl Jam guitarist Mike McCready, and late Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins.
