These shoes were made for pulling at your heartstrings.
Bride-to-be Emma of Leicestershire had hoped her mother would be by her side on her August 2019 wedding day.
Sadly, Emma's mom died of lung cancer in 2017.
But she found a way to be at the wedding in the form of a pair of shoes.
With the help of the groom, Emma's mother secretly paid for Emma's shoes and had a sweet message engraved on the sole.
"Wanted you to have a gift from me on your wedding day. Your wedding shoes are my gift to you," the note read. "Hope you have a magical day. Lots and lots of love and big hugs, MUM xxxx"
