The death toll in the Miami Beach condo collapse has increased to 5, and 156 remain unaccounted for, Miami-Dade mayor Daniella Levine Cava said Saturday night.
The body was discovered as search and rescue crews went through the rubble of the Champlain Towers South Condo which partially collapsed Thursday, she said.
Cava also said other human remains were also found at the Surfside condo.
Rescue workers, aided by dogs and sonar devices, will continue to search for survivors.
"Our top priority continues to be search and rescue and saving any lives that we can," Cava said.
