Andrew Cuomo lost another title this week, a day after he officially stepped down as New York governor.

The International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences announced Tuesday it would rescind Cuomo's special 2020 International Emmy Award over the findings in Attorney General Letitia James' independent report into his alleged sexual misconduct.
“The International Academy announced today that in light of the New York Attorney General’s report, and Andrew Cuomo’s subsequent resignation as Governor, it is rescinding his special 2020 International Emmy Award,” the organization said. “His name and any reference to his receiving the award will be eliminated from International Academy materials going forward.”
Cuomo was selected last fall as a recipient of the organization's International Emmy Founders Award for his infamous COVID-19 briefings.
“People around the world tuned in to find out what was going on, and New York tough became a symbol of the determination to fight back," said International Academy President & CEO, Bruce L. Paisner during his announcement in November.
Tuesday's announcement is the latest setback for Cuomo who resigned under pressure amid multiple sexual misconduct allegations as an impeachment investigation, despite his exit, continues.
