"That would be what is yes."
It was an answer "Jeopardy!" audience member Maria Shafer said with no hesitation, after show contestant Michael Pascuzzi popped a question of his own.
"I just want to say one quick thing and ask Maria Shafer right there… if she would make me a winner today and marry me," Pascuzzi said.
Even Alex Trebek was a little surprised when Pascuzzi used his interview time with the host to propose.
Though Pascuzzi came in second, he did walk away with a winning and quick-thinking fiancee.
"I was about to say we'll have the answer to that question right after this commercial break," Trebek said after Shafer accepted.
