Studies are being performed to look at whether COVID-19 vaccines protect against the long-term impact of the virus.

COVID-19’s impact has been felt around the world. While more than 1 million Americans have died as a result of it, more than six times that number have died worldwide.

As a result, numerous studies are being performed throughout the world. A new one from Korea, published by the Journal of the American Medical Association, looks at the long-term impact of vaccines.

It is well known that there is an increased risk of heart attack and stroke after COVID-19, but does vaccination help reduce the chances of heart attack and stroke after COVID-19?

The answer is yes — which is important because it suggests that vaccines may have an impact weeks and months down the road after infection.
