Are you sure you want to work while you're sick at home with COVID-19?

There is no doubt among doctors and scientists that people who are vaccinated against COVID-19 are far less likely to have severe symptoms. However, is working from home while sick a good idea?

It is rapidly turning into a national conversation. One of the most common lines heard from public figures who are infected with the coronavirus is that they are working from home as they fight COVID-19.

Staying home is clearly the right thing to do from a public health perspective, but is working at home, while battling COVID-19 or any other illness, a good idea?

Certainly it sounds great to say it, but there are several key concerns. The first is our immune response. Intake of fluids, periods of rest, and stress reduction are vital for our immune system.

In addition, just how effective will a person’s decision-making skills be when they are battling a serious illness? Just because a person can work from home does not necessarily mean they should.
