Medical professionals anticipate a robust flu season this year, now that COVID infections have decreased and people may be taking fewer precautions.

She urged people to get their flu vaccine as soon as possible.
“It takes a couple of weeks for the protection to starting kick in after you get a flu vaccine,” she said.
