Feeling "middle aged" is more of a feeling than an actual number!

At least that's what a new new study out of the United Kingdom states. Per the results, society as a whole feels like they've reached the middle age mark by the age of 47.

The study of 2,000 adults found the most common "feelings" associated with feeling middle aged included: "feeling stiff all over," "getting a ‘middle age belly," and "not knowing what songs are in the charts."

These were among the biggest signs you've finally reached middle aged status. Additionally, the top ten signs you're getting middle aged, according to the survey via SWNS Digital, include:

10 - Thinking policemen/teachers/doctors look really young
9 - Finding you have no idea what ‘young people’ are talking about
8 - You don’t know any songs in the top 10
7 - Can’t shift weight
6 - Forgetfulness
5 - Choosing clothes and shoes for comfort rather than style
4 - Saying ‘it wasn’t like that when I was young’
