
A new poll has found that 49% of U.S. adults approve of President Joe Biden’s overall job performance, NBC reported.
As for the other 51% of Americans, only 48% say they disapprove of the president.

Since April, Biden’s approval number has dipped by 4% when the poll found that 53% of adults approved of his job performance. The most prominent groups seeing a decline for Biden are independents, residents living in rural areas, and white Americans.
When it comes to the coronavirus, 53% say they approve of how Biden has handled the coronavirus in the U.S., while 44% say they disapprove.
As for how Biden has handled Afghanistan, 60% say they disapprove. But, at the same time, only 29% of Americans think the country is headed in the right direction, while 54% are worried about the country’s future.
A Politico poll taken between Aug. 13 and 16 also found that 51% of U.S. adults disapprove of Biden’s handling of Afghanistan.
The poll was conducted between Aug. 14 and 17 and asked 1,000 U.S. adults their opinions on the president.
