Milk Bar is “shaking” things up!
The New York-based dessert company is joining forces with Shake Shack to create 2 limited-time sweet and creamy milkshake flavors.

The new menu items bring together Shake Shack’s frozen custards and Milk Bar’s modern-style desserts to create the perfect birthday treat, Shake Shack announced in a press release.
The shakes might even impress your Instagram followers, too.
Christina Tosi, Chef and Founder of Milk Bar, said she was excited "to make milkshake dreams come true with our BFFs at Shake Shack."
The first milkshake flavor is a chocolate birthday cake shake with Milk Bar B’Day crumbs, gourmet funfetti cake, and Milk Bar B’Day frosting. The frosting is hand-spun with chocolate cake frozen custard, and the shake is topped with whipped cream and rainbow sprinkles.
The second sweet collaboration is a cornflake chocolate drizzle cake made with Milk Bar’s signature Cornflake Crunch, hand-spun with malted vanilla frozen custard and topped with Milk Bar chocolate fudge drizzle and mini marshmallows.
The brain freeze sounds worth it.
"We settled on our hand-spun shakes as the muse, and then Christina and her team at Milk Bar did what they do so well - crafting fun and delicious takes on some of their most legendary baked goods, but in our frozen custard," Shake Shack culinary director Mark Rosati said. "We had a great time working on this and can’t wait for our fans to stop by, order one or two shakes, and enjoy!"
The two milkshakes will launch at Shake Shack locations nationwide on September 3. Those who use the Shake Shack mobile app can snag the shakes early starting August 31.

The deal gets even sweeter for your birthday.
Every Friday in September, Shake Shack is giving away free shakes to anyone born on a few random dates the company will pick at random. Customers can check the Shake Shack Instagram Stories where the company will use its B’Day Randomizer feature. If your birthday is selected, the first 50 followers to send the company a DM will receive a discount code to redeem on the app for a free shake.
