Taylor Swift stopped her concert in Detroit to pay tribute to the icon who grew up there, Aretha Franklin.
The 'Queen of Soul', who died in August at the age of 76 after a battle with pancreatic cancer, was known for her outspoken, feminist songs like 'Natural Woman' and 'Respect'.
Taylor helped to remember the unforgettable singer and even gave a moment of silence for her during the show.
"She was one of those people, no matter what you said, no matter what glowing, positive thing you said about her," she said, "words could never ever describe how many things she did in her lifetime that made our world a better place."
Singers like Taylor Swift continue to help keep Aretha Franklin's memory and legacy alive.
