The “Tiger King” craze continues as Jeff Lowe plans his return to the small screen.
Fans of the Netflix docuseries will remember Jeff as a friend-turned-foe to Joseph “Joe Exotic” Maldonado Passage.
Jeff told PEOPLE that an upcoming reality TV show starring him and his wife, Lauren Lowe, "will divulge a lot more information about the relationship between" himself and Exotic.

"It'll be our narrative on the Tiger King with evidence to support our sides of the stories. And it will be about the transfer of all these beautiful animals from Joe's facility to the new facility," Jeff explained.
The couple is gearing up to open a new zoo in Thackerville, Oklahoma this fall following some delays from the coronavirus pandemic.
He added that the series will focus on the “day-to-day struggle of running something as big as a 60-acre animal park and all the intricacies of the employment of zookeepers and fighting all of the animal rights groups.”
Many people who binge-watched “Tiger King” were appalled with the mistreatment of exotic animals, but Jeff says he hopes to course-correct and show that it “can be done right.”
"We have an immaculate reputation with the USDA who regulates all the zoos in the world. We have a great relationship with them. We have a great relationship with Fish and Game. The state of Oklahoma, all the game wardens, they really like us, so I think it'll be an interesting show," he told the publication.
Lauren chimed in explaining that the animals are treated properly stating, "just showing the animals going from small enclosures to bigger enclosures. We just want to put a brighter light on things because everybody wants to put a horrible light on roadside zoos. Every zoo is off of a road."

It’s unclear when the project will air or on what network. Lowe said they haven’t gotten a production date yet, which is understandable considering most TV show and movie productions have been suspended since mid-March due to the pandemic. New production guidelines for filming were released this week.
"We're filming B-roll right now. It's hard with COVID-19 to put crews together and get them all out here, staying in hotels. It's just a little bit difficult, but I think they anticipate a few more weeks before they start all of the big camera filming," he explained.
Earlier this week, Joe Exotic’s archnemesis Carole Baskin and her Big Cat Rescue Corp. were granted control of his zoo, The G.W. Exotic Animal Memorial Park, now known as Tiger King Park. While it was recently under Jeff’s control, he has been given 120 days to vacate the premises.
"It’s always been our intention to leave this place. We don’t particularly like it here, because of its geographical location. It’s not a great place for a business, it was poorly constructed, so we’re happy to let her have it… I wish her all the luck in the world, and she can have these 16 acres of haunted memories," Jeff said of the Wynnewood location, per "Entertainment Tonight."
Joe Exotic is currently in jail serving a 22-year sentence for a murder-for-hire plot on Baskin.
