We’re getting into the true dog days of summer. That means one thing and one thing only: football season. NFL Training Camps are kicking off this week around the league and this year is unlike any other.

“Just listening to guys from around the league, just guys that kind of follow me and hit me up on different things, some of the biggest stars in this league can’t wait to start this week,” Baldinger said (2:15 in player above).

Despite the near-100 degree temperatures (or hotter, depending on the location) and tedious drills, there’s excitement in the air around the league.

“It’s not like there’s any dread,” he continued. “This group is ready to go around the league and I don’t know – coming off the postseason we all saw last year – that there’s ever been any more optimism for a season than there is right now.”

There are many faces in new places for the 2022 NFL season. Davante Adams, Tyreek Hill, Allen Robinson, and Russell Wilson headline the many changes across the league. With all of the new looks, teams are ready to see them on the field.

“I think part of that optimism and the reason guys are brimming with excitement ready to go is because so many teams, owners, GMs, front offices, team presidents went bigger and bolder than we ever thought they would,” La Canfora said.

“This was an offseason that was filled with power move after power move after power move and now we get to see those things actually put into practice on the football field and not just on a roster.”
