Bill Belichick continues his war on sideline technology with phone smash

Bill Belichick has plenty to be upset about after Monday night's Patriots performance against the Bills, but one moment in particular seemed to really set him off.

After challenging a play that had no chance of being overturned, cameras captured Belichick on the sideline talking to someone on the phone -- presumably whoever it was who advised him to throw the red flag -- and then smashing said phone.

The poor phone becomes the latest piece of sideline technology to meet its end at the hands of Belichick.

Back in 2016, he smashed a Microsoft tablet coaches use to review plays and was so frustrated he switched back to the old-school paper print-outs.

A couple years later, it was the tablet once again.

Now Belichick joins David Ortiz in the club of Boston sports legends who have taken out their frustration on a phone.

And of course, Belichick's smash is already turning into a meme.
