Draymond Green Makes the Golden State Warriors Unstoppable

OAKLAND (95.7 The Game) -- Stephen Curry torched another NBA opponent Wednesday night, dropping 37 points (including seven 3-pointers) and nine assists in the Golden State Warriors' 131-121 victory over the New Orleans Pelicans.

Curry is now averaging 33 points on the young season. However, as good as he was against the Pelicans, this night belonged to Draymond Green.

All Green did in the first of five consecutive games at home was nearly drop a triple-double with 16 points, 14 rebounds and eight of the Warriors' season-high 39 assists.

According to Warriors head coach Steve Kerr, Green no doubt wast the best player on the floor.

It doesn't take much to get Green revved up, but the fact that he was not named to the NBA All-Defensive first team last season has the seven-year vet on a mission. We all know the 2016-2017 Defensive Player of the Year doesn't take kindly to being slighted.

Curry has noticed how well the heart and soul of the defending champs is playing.

Anthony Davis is arguably one of the best players in the NBA, but Green did his best to disrupt the Unibrow's rhythm. Davis entered the fourth quarter with only nine points.

Whether it's switching, barking signals, taking knees to the junk (hello, Julius Randle), Green is having a stellar start to the season and likes the way the Warriors are starting the season. And don't think for one second that Green will flip that emotional switch off. Just ask Kevin Durant.
