Tensions are always high in the draft room, and Howie Roseman and Tom Donahoe were caught in an awkward moment last Friday night. The video went viral.

For Andy Weidl, it wasn't a negative though. It was just a product of a passionate environment.

"The one thing about this business is it's a business where passion is involved," said the vice president of player personnel on Tuesday afternoons 94WIP Marks & Rees Show. "To be quite frank, if you aren't passionate in this business, you are probably in the wrong line of work."

Weidl joined the Marks & Reese show and shed light on the contentious missed fist bump between Roseman and Donahoe.

"One of the things that makes Tom the evaluator and person he is in this business is his passion. That video came out and it is what is it is. It's not going to define our draft. It’s not going to define the tightness and closeness and the family environment we have in our front office and the relationships we have with each other and our coaching staff.

Tom and Howie go back 10 years. That 2016 offseason - with picking up Brandon Brooks, making the moves to acquire Carson Wentz, Isaac Seumalo, Big V - that really set the table for us to go on that Super Bowl run in 2017. They have a relationship that goes way back. Tom has been a tremendous asset to Howie and I both personally and professionally. He's a guy with a lot of wisdom and experience that he has shared with us. It's unfortunate that video came out, but that's not going to define this draft, front office and the energy we have right now, the chemistry and where we are going."

Weidl also discussed the Eagles approach throughout the weekend, his thoughts on Landon Dickerson and much more.
