Is Aaron Rodgers to the Jets a done deal? That depends on which report you believe.

A decision on what’s next for the star quarterback seems imminent. The Jets met with him last week, and all signs point to him landing in New York – with a report from ESPN’s Trey Wingo on Monday saying the move was “done.”

However, other reports indicated that things still are trending in that direction, but nothing is done.

Who knows when a decision actually will come down. But, interestingly, ProFootballTalk’s Mike Florio told “Mully & Haugh” that he heard Rodgers has been recruiting players to New York.

"I heard that it was close to done but it’s not done," Florio said, "That Rodgers had come to terms with being traded to the Jets and he was actively involved in recruiting Packers players who are available to come to New York – but that it’s still not done.”

It should come as little surprise then that as of Tuesday morning, ex-Packers wideout Allen Lazard, a favorite target of Rodgers, is “actively working” on an agreement with the Jets.

A timeline for when Rodgers will make a decision isn’t entirely clear, although it’s worth noting he usually makes an Tuesday afternoon appearance on the “Pat McAfee Show.” Either way, both the Jets and Packers are handcuffed until Rodgers makes his call.
