After winning the 2020 National League MVP Award, Freddie Freeman's 2021 season got off to a slow start. But that has changed, and for the first time all season his average sits above .300.
In addition to just generally being one of the better hitters in baseball, Freeman accomplished something special in Wednesday's 11-9 win over the Marlins, he hit for the cycle.
Freeman's cycle is the second of his career and he's the first player in Atlanta Braves history (second in franchise history) to hit for the cycle twice.

While some may credit the batting coach or focus on the plate, according to Freeman it was a breakfast decision that led to his historic night.
"We had breakfast this morning and we had two cappuccinos delivered -- and she chose the cappuccino and she handed it to me and said this is the one with a lot of hits in it," Freeman said in his postgame press conference. "So I have to give this one up to my wife, Chelsea, because if it wasn't for the right cappuccino pick, I wouldn't be here talking to you guys,"
Freeman became just the fifth first baseman to hit for multiple cycles joining John Olerud, Bob Watson, Lou Gehrig, and George Sisler, although it is not known which of those guys had a strong cup of coffee the morning of their big day.
