The Cleveland Browns have returned to the circus. After a 2-5-1 start to the season, the Browns abruptly decided to fire both head coach Hue Jackson and offensive coordinator Todd Haley. On the other side, the Kansas City Chiefs just keep on rolling and their offense keeps on scoring. They lead the AFC at 7-1, one game ahead of the New England Patriots.

It wasn't as easy as the Chiefs expected last week, but they still got by the Broncos, 30-23. It was another week of Patrick Mahomes breaking records as he continues to bolster his MVP credentials. Mahomes is the 4th QB in NFL history with four-plus TD passes in three straight games. He leads the NFL with 2,526 passing yards and 26 TD passes. Tyreek Hill comes into this game banged up, which will be something to monitor, but even if he were not to play, the Chiefs should coast. Sammy Watkins had a tremendous 107-yard, two-TD performance last week, which was essential in the close win. Now the defense is also starting to play well. Dee Ford finished with three sacks and two forced fumbles last week, and Chris Jones has four sacks in his past four games. If the Chiefs defense starts showing out, this team just becomes that much more lethal.

Cleveland opening the beer fridges after they beat the Jets in Week 3 for their first win in two seasons seems so long ago. Since then, the Browns have gone 1-4 with the lone win a 12-9 OT victory over the Baltimore Ravens. It's been ugly on both sides of the football. Rookie QB Baker Mayfield has been inconsistent, but it's pretty remarkable what he has had to go through since taking over for Tyrod Taylor. The Browns traded away their top receiver in Josh Gordon, traded away starting RB Carlos Hyde, and now they fire the head coach and offensive coordinator. Now it's just time to watch Mayfield develop and see what you have in Nick Chubb in the backfield. This shapes up to be a blowout loss at home for the Browns.
