After Week 1, the Bengals have had a tough schedule and have battled through it. They're 4-2 on the season, but now have to go to Kansas City and take on the explosive Chiefs. No pressure. The Chiefs are going to be coming out guns blazing after a heartbreaking loss in the final seconds to the Patriots where they played them as well as they could. This would be a statement win for the Bengals if they can win on the road against the team with the best record in the conference. They would also be the top seed in the AFC in a tie if they could win this game. There are some really good games this week, and this one is right there towards the top.

The Bengals just can not beat the Steelers. They had their chance last week with a 21-20 lead late, but Big Ben drove the Steelers down the field to the tune of an Antonio Brown game-winning TD in the final seconds. It was another heartbreaker for a team that was looking to get a stranglehold on the AFC North, which has been very competitive. Andy Dalton has played well this season, and he aims for his third game in a row on the road with 330-plus passing yards. The Bengals have history on their side too, winning their past four matchups with the Chiefs...although that doesn't say a ton since they haven't gone up against this Patrick Mahomes-led offense. This strong Bengals defense has a tough task ahead of them. They will need Geno Atkins and Carlos Dunlap to try and force Mahomes into some mistakes, which has not been happening.
It's fun watching this Chiefs offense move the ball up and down the field and make big plays, which has been Tyreek Hill's middle name. They have really opened up the playbook for Mahomes in his first season under center, and it's been a joy to watch if you're a football fan that likes to see scoring. Mahomes leads the NFL with 18 TDs. Mahomes and the passing game has been so good that people almost forget how great Kareem Hunt has been. Hunt has been a true force at home too. He's got 1,022 scrimmage yards in 10 home games so far in his career (102.2 per game). Travis Kelce has been cruising at home as well, looking for his third straight 100-plus yard game at Arrowhead. The Chiefs defense still is a reason for concern as the Patriots lit them up last week. It hasn't been a major issue yet with how much their offense is scoring, but that will be something to keep an eye on here as the weather gets colder. At some point, they are going to have to stop people. You would think that when it's 20-30 degrees in the final two months of the season, the Chiefs may not put up 30-40 every week...but you could not put it past Mahomes, who really is looking like a MVP.
