Packers-Rams can be a playoff preview if Aaron Rodgers can stay healthy and get back to making this offense click. We know that the Rams are well on their way to winning the NFC West and possibly making a Super Bowl run. The Rams are off to a sizzling 7-0 start. The Packers sit at 3-2-1 coming off their bye. That means Rodgers has had the chance to rest his banged-up knee, which the Packers hope means he can move around in the pocket more and maybe run with the football as he's done so well in the past.

The Packers have been an odd team to read through the first half of the season. They go as Rodgers goes, and the bye week may have been the best thing to happen to the future Hall of Fame QB. It has been a somewhat rocky season, but the Packers rank as the No. 4 overall offense and the No. 8 overall defense in the NFL. The passing game led by Rodgers has led the charge while their running attack has left much to be desired. Despite the knee injury, Rodgers has thrown for 12 TDs and just one INT to go along with 317 yards per game. Rodgers is going to need some help from tight end Jimmy Graham down the middle of the field when the Rams' elite pass rush comes after him. It's taken a couple of comebacks and late drama for Green Bay to reel off a couple wins. They are in a division where all four teams are fighting for playoff spots. This will be a true test for the Packers going up against the best team in the NFL.
The Packers will be asking a lot from their defense to stop the Rams' nearly unstoppable offense. Coach McVay has this team scoring at will behind one of the best young QBs in the game (Jared Goff), the best running back in football (Todd Gurley), and a couple stud receivers. The Rams will be shooting for the franchise's first 8-0 start since 1969. Gurley continues to put up ridiculous numbers, leading the NFL with 88 points, 686 yards rushing, 144 carries, and 956 yards from scrimmage. No team has been able to contain Gurley, who has a chance at the MVP award. The Rams offense will be without Cooper Kupp, so Goff will be looking for Brandin Cooks and Robert Woods all afternoon. On defense, the Rams are led up front by Aaron Donald and Ndamukong Suh. Donald co-leads the NFL with eight sacks, four of them coming last week against the 49ers. The Rams will be tested over the next seven games: They play the Packers, Saints, Seahawks, Chiefs, Lions, Bears, and Eagles. If they were to finally lose one (and maybe a few), it would be over this tough stretch.
