Buckle up in the Big Easy for one heck of a Week 9 matchup. The Los Angeles Rams and New Orleans Saints will meet Sunday in New Orleans in what could be an NFC Championship preview. If the two GOATs weren't going up against each other (Tom Brady's New England Patriots vs. Aaron Rodgers' Green Bay Packers), this would have been the Sunday night game. The Rams come into this game undefeated at 8-0 following their dramatic 29-27 win over the Packers last week. The Saints are coming off an impressive 30-20 road win over the Minnesota Vikings. After a surprising 48-40 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 1, the Saints haven't looked back, winning six straight to improve to 6-1. On Sunday, either an eight-game win streak or a six-game win streak will come to an end in what is expected to be an offensive shootout.

How to Watch Rams vs. Saints: Week 9

The Rams really had a chance to suffer their first loss last week. They have the Packers' Ty Montgomery to thank for the ball not going back to Rodgers, and the rest is history. The Rams offense keeps rolling, putting up points at will. Todd Gurley dropped another casual 195-scrimmage-yard game last week while Jared Goff threw for 295 yards, three TDs, and no picks. Goff is 7-0 in his last seven road games. Oh, and that's just their offense. The Rams' dynamic pass rush got another boost this week, when they added Dante Fowler Jr. via trade to a unit that includes Aaron Donald and Ndamukong Suh. Linebacker Cory Littleton is going for his third game in a row with eight-plus tackles and a sack. The Rams are the Warriors of the NFL. But if there were a game you would not be surprised for them to lose, it's against the Saints in the Superdome.

Since a shocking Week 1 loss, the Saints refuse to lose. They got the help of some Cleveland Browns missed field goals in their house in Week 2, a dramatic OT win in Week 3 in Atlanta and a Justin Tucker missed game-tying extra point for the Baltimore Ravens two weeks ago. But it's mostly been smooth sailing for a 6-1 team that didn't make a ton of noise at the trade deadline, outside of adding to their secondary with CB Eli Apple. Drew Brees, 39, continues breaking records and aging gracefully. He's thrown 14 TD this season with just one INT. His TD numbers aren't crazy because he has two No. 1 running backs in Alvin Kamara and Mark Ingram. That makes life easier for the future Hall of Famer. Brees doesn't have a tremendously talented receiving corps after Michael Thomas, who is well on his way to a 100-reception, 1,000-plus-yard season. The Saints are so hot right now that being at home could be the difference in this one. First team to 50 wins.
