Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson's contract situation remains one of the bigger question marks entering the 2022 season.
The 2019 NFL MVP remains without an extension, prompting speculation about whether he'll remain in Baltimore long-term. Jackson has previously set a deadline for a deal by Week 1. The Ravens could franchise-tag Jackson for 2023, but that would only kick the can down the road and continue the cycle of uncertainty.
Meanwhile, fans continue to speculate on extension negotiations, and where Jackson could end up if this is his last season with the Ravens.
On Monday, a Twitter user claimed that Jackson had turned down an offer of $250 million. Jackson quickly chimed in to deny that seemingly baseless assertion:
Later, Jackson favorited a fan's tweet that showed a mockup photo of Jackson in a Dolphins uniform.

The two-time Pro Bowler is a native of Florida, and explained that the Dolphins were his second-favorite team growing up, after the Dallas Cowboys.
While Jackson's explanation makes it all seem harmless enough, his social media activity, taken in total against the backdrop of the contract talks, is nonetheless eye-opening.
Recent extensions for other top-tier quarterbacks would suggest that Jackson is probably in line for somewhere around $45-50 million annually. That would keep him in line with Aaron Rodgers, Kyler Murray, and Deshaun Watson.
For whatever reason, the Ravens seem to be hesitant to go there with Jackson. Time will tell if it comes to fruition. Stay tuned.
