The MLB trade deadline is 4 p.m. on Monday and the rumor mill is swirling with many deals already going down on Sunday.

More could be on the way as some premier names on the trade market continue to pop up. Here's the latest:

Mike Clevinger Will Be Dealt, But Where?

It is dizzying to keep up with the latest news on Mike Clevinger.

Multiple reports on Sunday evening suggested the San Diego Padres have emerged as serious favorites to land the right-hander

Per RADIO.COM MLB Insider Jon Heyman, the Padres have been working on a potential deal for Clevinger for a week and the Padress have the players to get it done, but do not want to part with young talent such as Trent Grisham and Jake Cronenworth.

Yet, no more than an hour later, fellow RADIO.COM MLB Insider Bob Nightengale reported that the Indians requested physicals on potential trade chips from two different teams, neither of whom were the Padres, adding San Diego was no longer considered the favorite.

Prior to the developments on Sunday evening, the Chicago White Sox were reportedly talking about a potential deal for Clevinger, according to Nightengale.

The White Sox, who are tied atop the AL Central with the Indians, are in dire need of more starting pitching behind Lucas Giolito, and Clevinger has seemed to fall out of favor with the Indians, who are loaded with young, controllable arms.

Cleveland has reportedly set a high asking price for Clevinger, and several other teams in need of starting pitching have also expressed interest in the right-hander, including the Atlanta Braves (who traded for Tommy Milone on Sunday) and the New York Yankees.

Yankees Interested in Starling Marte

The Yankees' injuries have sent the team on a downward spiral, and while adding another arm into both the rotation and bullpen is likely a priority, they also appear to be eyeing insurance for Aaron Judge.

According to Joel Sherman of the New York Post, the Yankees have checked in with the Arizona Diamondbacks on Starling Marte.

Marte, 32, entered Sunday with just two home runs and 14 RBI, but was hitting .332 with five steals. He can play either right field or center field.

Judge was recently placed back onto the IL on Friday after re-aggravating a calf strain that sent him to the IL earlier in August. He is not expected to return until the end of the season.

Clint Frazier has gotten a chance to shine in Judge's absence, but the outfield consisting of him, Brett Gardner, Mike Tauchman and Aaron Hicks has struggled to produce in the way Judge and DH Giancarlo Stanton -- who is also on the IL -- have.

Lance Lynn Deal 'Increasingly' Likely

According to MLB Network's Jon Paul Morosi, it is "increasingly likely" that the Rangers will trade Lance Lynn.

Among the teams that have checked in on Lynn include the White Sox, Twins and Dodgers, per Morosi.

Lynn has been among the league's biggest surprises this season. The 33-year-old is 4-1 with a 1.93 ERA in eight starts this season, striking out 56 batters in 51.1 innings pitched.

The Rangers are also reportedly looking to deal slugger Joey Gallo.
