We have a huge, 11-game NBA slate tonight, so that means plenty of players to choose from for today’s article. I’m personally looking forward to Bucks-Jazz, as that will be must-see television.

Player props are a fun way to wager on NBA games even if you don't like a side or total. I like to find matchups that I can exploit or good situations due to injuries.

Zion Williamson OVER 23.5 points

Williamson comes into tonight’s game averaging 23.8 points per game (PPG) on the season. His career average over the last two seasons is near that mark, at 23.1 per.

Zion has been a monster near the rim this season with a 60.7 FG%. New Orleans has topped the NBA with a 124.4 Offensive Rating over the last five games, and now they face a Mavericks team that ranks 23rd in points allowed and right in the middle of the league with opponents shooting 37%.

Another big reason I like Zion to go over is because I envision him getting a ton of easy putbacks tonight. The Pelicans grab 52.6% of available rebounds (2nd in the league), while Dallas sits all the way at 27th, with a mark of 48%.

This game has the highest total on the board, so we are going to see some fireworks. Expect Williamson to partake in the fun.

Julius Randle OVER 22.5 points

Randle is quietly having himself a season, as the Knicks big man is averaging 22.3 PPG. Tonight he faces a Washington Wizards team that is putrid defensively in pretty much every category. Per Lineups.com, the Wizards rank last in Points Allowed, 29th in Opponents FG %, 29th in Defensive Rating, and 24th in Rebounds Allowed.

This is purely a matchup play. Randle should be able to eat downlow and get a ton of second chance opportunities against Washington. I have him going for at least 25.

Brook Lopez UNDER 14.5 points

The Jazz are winners of five straight and have gone 9-1 over their last ten games. Their success has been due to their balance on both sides of the ball, especially on defense, where they rank third in Defensive Rating. Utah also leads the league in Allowed eFG%. The Jazz have one of the best defensive players in the league in rim protector Rudy Gobert.

I bring this all up because that’s my logic behind this Lopez bet. The Bucks big man averages 10.7 PPG and the last time these two teams matched up, he scored 12 points. Unless he gets hot from 3-point range, I don’t see him eclipsing the 15-point mark in this game.
