Today's NBA slate features only five games, but there are still some studs to choose from in the player prop pool. I'll go with Portland-Miami as today's game of the day. Miami is favored by 2 points and the total is set to 217.5

As for today’s best NBA bets, player props are a fun way to wager on NBA games even if you don't like a side or total. I like to find matchups that I can exploit or good situations due to injuries.

Let’s dive into a couple of these scenarios now.

Tobias Harris OVER 22.5 points

Harris has really stepped up offensively since Joel Embiid went down and I see that continuing tonight.

Harris is averaging 22.9 points per game (PPG) over his last ten outings. Over the last six games, the small forward is dropping 24.3 PPG. The last time these two teams matched up, Harris scored 24 points.

Love the matchup here tonight against the Los Angeles Lakers. I’m going to try to continue to target L.A. without LeBron James and AD on the defensive side of the ball.

Bradley Beal UNDER 31.5 points

Beal has been putting up buckets all season long, but this is a tough matchup for him. New York is 1st in points allowed, giving up just 105 PPG. They are also in the top five of multiple key defensive metrics including 1st in field goal allowed and 3rd in defensive rating. The last time Beal faced New York this season, he scored 22 points.

Beal comes into this game averaging 27.1 PPG over his last ten games. This is strictly a matchup play, and I don’t see either team going off tonight.

Julius Randle OVER 1.5 made threes

Randle’s All-Star season has been fun to watch. One of his biggest areas of improvement this year has been his ability to stretch the floor and hit threes. This is a little risky bet but I like getting + money in return in this spot.

He gets a great matchup tonight against a Wiz team that is bad at defending the three-ball. Washington ranks 23rd in three-pointers allowed and 27th in in opponent’s three-point percentage.

He’s gone over this number in four out of his last six games and should get plenty of clean looks tonight from 3.
