The Atlanta Falcons continue to surface in trade rumors leading up to the NFL Draft.

Atlanta, which presently has the 16th pick in the first round, has reportedly been in talks with the Jacksonville Jaguars about acquiring the ninth overall pick.

The Falcons are engaged in the discussions with the idea of selecting Florida cornerback CJ Henderson, according to ESPN draft guru Mel Kiper Jr.

“I keep hearing .. that Jacksonville could make a trade at 9 and go down to 16 with Atlanta," Kiper said on his podcast, First Draft. "Atlanta jumps up to get Henderson, and Jacksonville moves down to 16, and they have 16 and 20."

It was unclear what else the Falcons might give up in return to the facilitate the swap.

Henderson is regarded as one of the top two cover corners in the draft, along with Jeff Okudah of Ohio State, who is generally projected to go in the top 5 in most mocks. Henderson is likely to be off the board within the top 12 picks, Kiper said.

Atlanta was also mentioned in widely reported rumors earlier this week, linking them to South Carolina stud defensive tackle Javon Kinlaw, as well as Oklahoma quarterback Jalen Hurts in the second round.
