One of the most iconic uniforms in NFL history will make their long-awaited return in Week 5.
The New England Patriots will don their "Pat Patriot" throwback uniforms Sunday when they host the Detroit Lions:
This will mark the first time that the Patriots have worn the popular throwbacks since Week 7 of the 2012 NFL season.
The NFL eliminated their one-helmet rule prior to the 2022 season, paving the way for a slew of teams to add alternate helmets, or bring back old favorites like the Patriots are.
