The New Orleans Saints don’t plan to rush quarterbaack Drew Brees from injury, according to a report from ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Per Schefter, there's still no timetable for when Brees will return from the 11 fractured ribs and punctured lung he suffered earlier this season, despite Brees' own hopes to return in Week 15 against the Kansas City Chiefs.

According to the report, Brees will be "questionable at best" next Sunday when the Saints host Kansas City in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.

The 41-year-old QB went through warmups in Thursday's practice. He's been on injured reserve since Nov. 20.

Without Brees in the lineup, backup quarterback Taysom Hill has led the Saints to a 3-0 record entering Sunday's matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles. The clinched a playoff berth with a win last week and hold the best record in the NFC at 10-2.
