The MRI on the injured left knee of Sixers center Joel Embiid showed a bone bruise but no ACL or MCL damage, according to an ESPN report.

The ESPN report said there is no timetable on a return for Embiid, who suffered the injury in the Sixers' win over the Washington Wizards on Friday night.

A report from The Athletic stated Embiid could be out two-to-three weeks.

Embiid suffered the injury midway through the third quarter when his knee buckled at the end of a dunk. The injury appeared to be a serious one as he was being looked at by trainers, but Embiid did walk off the court and into the locker room without assistance.

While it is great news that it appears the injury to Embiid will not end his season, the question now will be how long he is out and how he will play once he returns from what could be a long stretch on the sideline.
