Stephen A. Smith may win a daytime Emmy, but not for a sports category.

The ESPN personality has apparently had a recurring role on the ABC soap opera “General Hospital” for quite some time and his character, Brick, appeared to save the day in the latest episode.

Smith tweeted out the clip, which showed him emerge from a black car and telling someone named Jason to “get down.”

Smith, or shall we say Brick, engages in a shootout with the villain before finally striking him to save the day.

“You’re clear,” Smith says after the villain is shot.

All this happened in slow motion, by the way, for extra dramatic effect we can only assume.

Smith first made an appearance as Brick on “General Hospital” back on March 31, 2016 and has appeared in several episodes since then.

We’re not quite sure what’s next in store for Brick, but hopefully his future scenes are just as epic.
