Former Georgia quarterback Stetson Bennett was arrested in Texas early this morning on the suspicion of public intoxication according to a report from WFAA-TV in Dallas.

Per the report, Bennett was "banging on doors in the area" around six o'clock this morning. Police were then called and when they arrived they found Bennett "and determined he was intoxicated." He was arrested and taken to a city detention center.
He told reporters last week via Zoom that he was in the Fort Worth area training for the upcoming NFL Draft.
Bennett, 25, was a senior for the back-to-back national championship-winning Georgia Bulldogs. He finished his career as one of only five quarterbacks to win consecutive titles and accumulated a 28-1 record in those two seasons.
