(670 The Score) The University of Illinois is gathering more information on and looking into a racist social media post directed at center Kofi Cockburn, the Associated Press reported.

The school will then determine whether to bring law enforcement into the matter, the AP reported. Cockburn, who was born in Jamaica and moved to New York, shared the post after top-seeded Illinois was eliminated by eighth-seeded Loyola in the round of 32 of the NCAA Tournament on Sunday.

Cockburn’s the second player in recent days known to have received racist comments following an NCAA Tournament loss. Ohio State forward E.J. Liddell had threatening and racist language directed at him after the Buckeyes were upset in the first round. The police were contacted regarding that incident, the AP reported.
