Minnesota Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer says one of his players had to go to the emergency room last night because of difficulties due to COVID-19. Zimmer would not name the player, but he did say the player had been vaccinated.

"He's stable now. But it was scary."
Zimmer says virus and exposure to the virus is creating some challenges for the team.
"Like 29 guys are getting tested because of close contact, including myself. so, we just do what we do."
Safety Harrison Smith, who is not vaccinated, was inactive Sunday because he contracted the virus.
The Vikings (3-5) travel to Los Angeles for a matchup with the Chargers Sunday.
