Pelicans star Zion Williamson's 2021 debut could be on the horizon.

Williamson was recently cleared for full team activities in his return from offseason foot surgery, the team announced. The 21-year-old All-Star participated in 4-on-4 full-court activities on Friday, the Pelicans said, but there was no timetable for his anticipated return to game action.
The third-year budding superstar has missed all of the Pelicans' games to date this season following surgery to repair a fractured foot.
While the Pelicans are surely eager to get Williamson back on the court, they will likely exercise caution with the face of their franchise. Williamson was reported to have gained weight while recovering, so he may need to work on his conditioning.
But, a return to full team activities usually suggests game action is only a week or two away.
The Pelicans have slumped badly without Williamson and following an offseason roster overhaul. The team was just 4-16 through its first 20 games, 14th out of 15 teams in the Western Conference.
